Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) for an outpatient setting in a location in need of dedicated therapy services. The role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing therapy interventions to support functional recovery. The position requires applying professional skills, adhering to safety standards, and promoting patient and staff safety throughout all responsibilities.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience, CPR certification, an active applicable license for the state where work will be performed, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with previous employment with the agency or organization is highly desired; experience with the organization is nice to have.
- Responsibilities include completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing treatment goals aligned with discharge plans, documenting clinical notes accurately and timely, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders, and participating in student educational programs.
- Adheres to all organizational policies, including safety protocols such as safe patient handling, infectious disease control, slips, trips, and falls prevention, and maintaining professional licensure and continuous education requirements.
- Demonstrates proficiency in applying clinical reasoning and participating actively in performance improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the organizations mission, core values, and professional standards.
