Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Pediatrics (PEDS OT) The organization is seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services in a critical access facility. This role involves delivering development therapy and sensory integration treatments to pediatric patients, primarily adolescents, infants, and children with developmental delays, sensory issues, and autism. The position starts on October 19, 2026, and concludes on January 18, 2027.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, NBCOT
• Education/Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required in pediatric outpatient therapy, including assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, and use of sensory therapy equipment; experience with sensory-friendly environments preferred
• Location: Critical Access facility with 25 beds, operating on dayshift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Responsibilities include performing activities of daily living assessments, neurodevelopmental treatment, patient/family education, and therapy planning for pediatric development issues, autism, sensory integration, and related diagnoses
• Charting System Experience: Required Cerner
• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Additional details: Candidates must be pre-closed at time of submission, provide SSN and DOB, and confirm start and RTO (requested time off) days upfront. Floating may be required within scope.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospital settings, sensory therapy equipment, developing treatment plans for pediatric clients, and working with adolescents and infants
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days off may be scheduled during assignment, and candidates must work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays
