Job Summary

MRI Technologist MRI Madison, WI. This position performs technical magnetic resonance imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures across a variety of imaging equipment and systems. The role works independently with patients across all age groups, collaborates with healthcare teams to prioritize routine and emergent procedures, and supports image processing, archiving, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance activities.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of clinical experience; graduate of a school of radiologic technology; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Level I trauma experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charting system experience and Level II trauma experience.
• Schedule: Evening shift with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week. The primary schedule is Monday through Thursday from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with a day or evening shift on Friday. Additional shifts may be assigned based on business needs; holidays may be required, with no regular weekend or on-call assignment.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations and specialized procedures, working across various locations as needed, maintaining imaging equipment, participating in quality assurance activities, resolving image-processing and image-archiving issues, coordinating schedules, triaging routine and emergent procedures, and supporting the instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals. Recent GE equipment experience within the last 1824 months is required. Experience performing pulmonary embolism examinations using Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is required for scheduled evening work. The position serves neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatric patients, and geriatric patients.
