Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Inpatient, Chewelah and Colville, WA This role provides acute care physical therapy in an inpatient setting along with afternoon outpatient coverage. The position supports patients across multiple age groups and diagnoses while collaborating with an interdisciplinary therapy team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:20 a.m.5:50 p.m., MondayThursday, for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Washington State license, with a compact license in hand at submission; ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care for adolescents, infants, adults, pediatric patients, and geriatric patients.
  • Supports patients with varied lower-acuity inpatient diagnoses, including deconditioning, weakness, impaired balance, impaired mobility, sepsis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, and postoperative orthopedic and spinal conditions.
  • Outpatient care may include cerebrovascular accident rehabilitation, orthopedics, balance training, and deconditioning.
  • Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, gait training, mobility training, patient and family education, discharge planning, strength testing, and safety and injury prevention.
  • Utilizes equipment such as mechanical lifts, transfer lifts, parallel bars, therapy stairs, stationary bicycles, and recumbent cross trainers.
  • Travel between inpatient and outpatient settings may be required for afternoon coverage.
  • No wound care is required.
