Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position supporting cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures in a teaching acute care setting. The role requires scrub experience, proficiency with cardiac procedures and equipment setup, and the ability to support diagnostic and interventional services.

Job Details

• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Call requirements include one weekday night per week and one weekend every four weeks, with weekend call coverage beginning Friday at the end of the shift through 7:00 a.m. Monday.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in both cardiac catheterization laboratory and angiography procedures, including scrub experience.
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and ARRT-R.
  • Required experience with Epic charting.
  • Skills in cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, adult diagnostic catheterization, equipment setup, dysrhythmia interpretation, interventional cardiac catheterization, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA).
  • Active Oregon license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting.
• Additional Information:
  • A 30-minute response time applies to call assignments.
  • Assignment dates are 12/07/2026 through 03/08/2027.
  • Requested time off is limited to 7 days and is not permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
  • Travelers may be required to float within the site and across the healthcare system.
  • Required education, skills testing, competency, and compliance activities must be completed before the assignment begins.
  • An Epic test-out module is required. Additional Epic training may be assigned if the test-out is not successfully completed.
  • A professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager is required.
