Description

Job Summary

MRI Technologist responsible for performing quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures under radiologist supervision to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role includes participation in departmental activities, teaching and research, effective communication, multitasking, and professional interaction with patients and customers.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week; scheduled Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Call and holiday coverage are required as needed and scheduled.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience; minimum of 1 year of Level I trauma experience; Certified MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) verification; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; computer proficiency, including basic navigation and email applications; ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and manage challenging customer interactions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips MRI equipment.

- Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist.
- Supports accurate and appropriate imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
- Participates in teaching, research, and departmental activities.
- Escalates difficult or challenging customer interactions as appropriate.
- Uses MRI scanning equipment and electronic medical record systems.
- Red uniform required.
