Job Summary

Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care Ahoskie, NC. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide primarily outpatient services, with additional acute care responsibilities. The outpatient caseload is primarily pediatric, with some adult patients, while acute care services involve adult patients and require proficiency in videofluoroscopic swallow studies.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: North Carolina license; ability to provide outpatient and acute care services; proficiency in modified barium swallow studies and videofluoroscopic swallow studies; ability to manage pediatric and adult caseloads.
• Additional Information:
  • Approximately 90% of the caseload consists of outpatient services.
  • The outpatient caseload is approximately 70% pediatric and 30% adult.
  • Acute care services involve adult patients.
  • Acute care on-call coverage is required every third weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for nothing by mouth orders.
