Job Summary

Radiation Therapist, Radiation Therapy. This position oversees the administrative, clinical, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational functions of patient care services within a radiation oncology department. The role provides leadership for staffing, resource utilization, clinical activities, performance management, customer service, and department accreditation requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in Radiation Therapy; management and supervisory experience; bachelor's degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration; Massachusetts radiology license; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); active Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy (T) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); active Registered Technologist in Radiography (RTR) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); demonstrated leadership abilities; professional and mature judgment; excellent communication skills; demonstrated customer service and physician relations skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration.
• Additional Information:
  • Oversees the day-to-day operation of radiation oncology patient care services.
  • Manages staffing concerns, resource utilization, clinical activities, and performance management matters.
  • Supports quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance compliance, and department accreditation requirements.
  • Promotes standards for privacy, safety awareness, communication, comfort, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Personal scrubs of any color are permitted.
  • Requested scheduling needs and time off must be identified during submission.
