Job Summary

Radiation Therapist, Radiation Oncology. This position oversees the administrative, clinical, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational functions of radiation oncology patient care services. The role provides day-to-day operational leadership, supports staffing and resource utilization, and promotes clinical performance, customer service, safety, and physician relations.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in radiation therapy.
  • Management and supervisory experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration.
  • Massachusetts radiology license.
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
  • Active ARRT certification as a Registered Technologist Radiography (RTR).
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including formal or informal leadership.
  • Professional and mature judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service and physician relations skills.
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration.
  • Meditech Expanse experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Responsible for supervising and supporting the daily operation of the radiation oncology area.
  • Manages staffing concerns, resource utilization, performance management issues, and clinical activities.
  • Oversees quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Supports department accreditation requirements.
  • Promotes standards related to ownership, appearance, communication, commitment to coworkers, privacy, safety awareness, comfort, and customer service.
  • Personal scrubs of any color are permitted.
  • Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
