Job Summary

Sonographer Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The sonographer performs diagnostic imaging for high-risk pregnancies from the first through third trimester. Responsibilities include routine and specialized sonography procedures that produce quality images to support diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or qualifying certification as an American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional; minimum of 3 years of experience in obstetric ultrasound; certifications in American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Fetal Echocardiography, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Schedule: 5x8 day shifts, 7:45 AM4:45 PM, with variable days; minimum 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Performs scans for first-, second-, and third-trimester pregnancies, including nuchal translucency screening, biophysical profiles, detailed level II examinations, multiple gestations, umbilical artery Doppler, middle cerebral artery Doppler, and transvaginal studies. The role supports care for high-risk obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine patients and requires competency in fetal anatomical surveys, amniotic fluid index assessment, placenta previa evaluation, and electronic charting.
