Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Outpatient Hope Mills, NC. This role provides outpatient physical therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The position includes one-on-one evaluations, treatment for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, and support from a generative artificial intelligence documentation scribe to help streamline compliant clinical documentation.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Outpatient physical therapy experience; ability to treat adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 AM4:30 PM; Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM6:00 PM. The schedule is ideally five 8-hour shifts, with four 10-hour shifts also considered. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Caseload of approximately 50 visits per week, including about 10 initial evaluations weekly. Initial evaluations are 60 minutes and conducted one-on-one. Common cases include total joint replacement, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, thoracic outlet syndrome, stenosis, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, rotator cuff repair and postoperative care, rotator cuff non-surgical intervention, postural dysfunction, plantar fasciitis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, meniscus tear, headache, generalized low back pain, fractures and stress fractures, disc herniation, carpal tunnel syndrome, calf strain, postoperative back pain, anterior cruciate ligament tear, and Achilles tendonitis. Documentation is completed using NextGen, with support from patient experience coordinators. Business-casual dress is required, including slacks, a professional shirt, and closed-toe shoes. A generative artificial intelligence documentation scribe is available to support real-time clinical documentation.
