Job Summary

Physical Therapist Inpatient. The position provides comprehensive physical therapy services in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing therapeutic plans of care, and supporting functional abilities and independence.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in physical therapy; active physical therapist licensure in Maine; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to speak, read, write, and understand written instructions in English; responsible and supportive team-player approach; ability to work effectively in high-stress situations; and strong interpersonal skills.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician or other accepted healthcare provider while observing applicable precautions and indications. Evaluates and treats patients according to department protocols, establishes short- and long-term goals, and develops therapeutic plans of care in collaboration with patients and other healthcare providers.
