Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist role supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures. The position performs scrub and monitoring duties, operates catheterization and radiology imaging equipment, and adapts to multiple and changing priorities in a multidisciplinary laboratory.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM3:30 PM, 8 hours per day, MondayFriday, 40 hours per week, with 24-hour on-call coverage. On-call coverage may include 1015 days per month, including two weekends, based on facility coverage needs.
• Required Qualifications: Two or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credential; degree in a related field, including BA, BS, BSN, or AA, or equivalent experience; ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities; ability to maintain confidentiality; effective verbal and written communication skills; and effective interpersonal skills.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures, performing scrub and monitoring duties, utilizing catheterization equipment, and operating radiology imaging equipment according to prescribed procedures. The role supports a STEMI-accepting facility and requires participation in scheduled call coverage.
