Job Summary

MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations across a range of studies, including brain, spine, pelvic, knee, hip, shoulder, and extremity imaging. The position requires an independent, detail-oriented professional capable of working solo, starting intravenous lines, and supporting approximately five scans per day in an acute care setting.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR); Washington license; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently in magnetic resonance imaging and performing a variety of scans without cardiac or pacemaker studies.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; holiday on-call rotation may be required, including every other weekend on-call coverage from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for holidays.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing magnetic resonance angiography, brain, spine, pelvic, knee, hip, shoulder, and extremity studies; starting intravenous lines; and operating a Toshiba Vantage 1.5T scanner. The role is limited to magnetic resonance imaging, with no cardiac or pacemaker studies. Departmental orientation is provided upon arrival, and clean, presentable scrubs of any type are acceptable.
