Job Summary

MRI Technologist MRI, Milwaukee, WI. The position supports a fast-paced, specialized magnetic resonance imaging environment with a broad range of advanced examinations, including cardiac, functional, neurological, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty imaging. The role provides care for outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Department patients, including individuals with implantable devices, oncology-related conditions, ventilator support, sedation needs, and whole-body imaging requirements.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Minimum 35 years of magnetic resonance imaging experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsMagnetic Resonance (ARRT-MR) certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification; experience with both GE and Siemens magnetic resonance imaging systems; electronic medical record and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging experience; breast magnetic resonance imaging experience; breast magnetic resonance imaging biopsy experience.
Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Three days of orientation are provided. Weekend rotation may occur no more than every third weekend. Weekend overnight on-call coverage is scheduled from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with additional weekend backup on-call coverage from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM. A 30-minute response time is required for on-call responsibilities. Weekly rotating first-shift backup and weekend on-call responsibilities are included; weekend on-call coverage generally occurs approximately once every eight weeks and may include on-site Saturday hours followed by a compensatory weekday off. Holiday coverage is based on operational needs. Professional scrub attire of any color is acceptable.
