Description
Job Summary
Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist Maternal Fetal Medicine. This position performs specialized ultrasound examinations for maternal and fetal assessment across all stages of pregnancy. The assignment includes a 13-week contract with 24 weeks of unit orientation and a weekday daytime schedule.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 410-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with a rotating weekday off based on staffing needs; 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification; American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OB/GYN certification; compact state license in hand at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with maternal-fetal medicine, high-risk obstetrics, fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, nuchal translucency screening, multiple pregnancies, transvaginal imaging, placenta previa, umbilical cord Doppler, amniocentesis, amniotic fluid index, and first-, second-, and third-trimester assessments.
- Additional Information: The role supports adolescents and adults and includes coverage of approximately 57 rooms with a patient ratio of approximately 6. No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements apply. Unit orientation is expected to last 24 weeks.
