Job Summary

Physical Therapist Outpatient | Santa Fe Springs. The contract physical therapist will evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal injuries in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting. The role involves collaborating with a team of therapists, communicating treatment plans to medical teams, reporting patient progress to physicians, and supporting colleagues in identifying clinical issues.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday day shifts, with shift times varying between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; 8-hour shifts, a one-hour lunch, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Physical Therapy; current license to practice in the state of employment; one year of outpatient orthopedic experience; one year of experience using manual therapy techniques.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 1416 patients per day; two years of experience practicing as a physical therapist; two years of experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries, developing and communicating treatment plans, documenting patient progress, collaborating with physicians and specialty physicians such as orthopedic and hand surgeons, and assisting colleagues with identifying clinical issues.
