Job Summary

MRI Technologist, MRI. The MRI Technologist performs a wide range of magnetic resonance imaging examinations across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings. The position supports varied patient acuity and includes exposure to specialized studies such as cardiac and breast magnetic resonance imaging.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience; Washington license specific to MRI; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsMagnetic Resonance (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification; required experience with electronic charting systems and community hospital settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonates, infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients; Level II trauma experience.
• Additional Information: The role includes outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department coverage, with a daily caseload of approximately 3040 patients across two imaging rooms. Responsibilities may include brain, spine, abdomen, extremity, cardiac, breast, and other magnetic resonance imaging examinations. Patient acuity ranges from ambulatory patients to patients requiring total assistance from registered nurses or other staff. The position includes a 13-week assignment and accepts first-time travelers.
