Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Outpatient Mesquite. The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides outpatient therapy to support functional recovery and return to community activities. The role also includes patient education, clinical documentation, care coordination, and participation in professional development activities.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; at least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides comprehensive patient evaluations, individualized treatment planning, 60-minute evaluations and treatment, timely medical record documentation, and care under valid physician orders. Responsibilities include patient and family education, delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, participation in student training when assigned, adherence to professional standards and state practice requirements, and promotion of patient and employee safety.
