Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, RT PEDS. Provides respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all age groups and acuity levels, including a Level 2 neonatal intensive care unit. The role requires advanced critical care and ventilator expertise, along with neonatal and pediatric experience.

Job Details

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program
- National Board for Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC RRT) certification; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials are not accepted
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- At least 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Critical care and ventilator experience
- Neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 neonatal intensive care unit experience
- Prior travel assignment experience
- Influenza vaccination required from October 1 through April 1; exemptions are not accepted
Schedule: Day shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours per week, with rotating call and weekend coverage.
Additional Information: Provides respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 neonatal intensive care unit patients.
