Job Summary

Occupational Therapist, Pediatrics, with responsibility for providing developmentally and age-appropriate occupational therapy services to patients from birth through adulthood. The role includes patient evaluation, individualized treatment planning, goal development, therapeutic intervention, progress monitoring, and collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy; a minimum of two years of pediatric, womens health, orthopedics, or sports medicine clinical experience, or one year of residency in one of these areas; experience treating children from birth through age 21 with neuromotor diagnoses, including autism, cerebral palsy, brachial plexus conditions, Down syndrome, genetic diagnoses, and developmental delays.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with feeding and infant therapy.
• Schedule: Day shift; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Plans, evaluates, organizes, and implements occupational therapy (OT) treatment programs. Completes patient evaluations and reassessments, develops individualized plans of care and measurable goals, monitors responses to treatment, recommends adaptive equipment, and coordinates care with patients, families, physicians, and other health care professionals. The role requires knowledge of rehabilitative care for acute and chronic conditions, human development from the neonatal period through adulthood, effective schedule management, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
