Job Summary

MRI Technologist, MRI. The MRI Technologist performs a broad range of imaging examinations across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care settings. The 13-week assignment involves day shifts, specialized studies such as cardiac and breast MRI, and care for patients ranging from ambulatory to total-assist needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; Wednesday through Friday with weekend coverage required.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT certification, with ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) accepted; Washington license specific to MRI; at least 1 year of MRI experience; experience with electronic charting systems; community hospital experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adolescents; Level I trauma experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs MRI examinations including cardiac, breast, brain, spine, abdomen, extremity, chest, pelvic, vascular, diffusion, perfusion, spectroscopy, and post-processing studies.
  • Provides care for adults and geriatric patients with varying acuity, from ambulatory patients to patients requiring partial or total assistance.
  • Daily caseload is approximately 3040 patients across two MRI rooms.
  • Call participation is optional.
  • Experience with contrast administration, peripheral intravenous access, surface coils, and advanced MRI imaging techniques is relevant to the role.
