Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Outpatient Willits. The Physical Therapist plans and conducts treatment programs designed to restore and improve patients physical, social, and mental functions. The role evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment and discharge plans, provides therapy interventions, and collaborates as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary care team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, including weekends.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree required for licenses obtained on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent.
  • Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  • Two years of recent acute care inpatient Physical Therapy experience, including intensive care unit experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two years of Physical Therapy experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Completes patient evaluations and addresses assessment areas requiring attention.
  • Uses appropriate clinical techniques, tools, and treatment protocols.
  • Establishes individualized treatment, care, and discharge plans and communicates them to appropriate parties.
  • Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
  • Supervises assigned assistants.
  • Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
