Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered RT PEDS. This position provides respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across acute care settings, including emergency, intensive care, cardiovascular intensive care, and inpatient units. Responsibilities include airway support, ventilator management, blood gas collection, and noninvasive respiratory therapies.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist Registered qualification; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Certified Respiratory Tech (CRT) verification; at least 1 year of experience in adult critical care; ability to support patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week; weekend and holiday coverage required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Perform blood gas collection, electrocardiograms, ventilator management, bi-level positive airway pressure, continuous positive airway pressure, general respiratory therapy procedures, and intubation assistance.
• Additional Information: The role supports emergency, intensive care, cardiovascular intensive care, and inpatient units, with no outpatient services. No solo shifts are scheduled. Department orientation includes one day focused on neonatal care and three days within the department. Black scrubs without logos are required.
