MRI Technologist, MRI, Michigan City, IN: The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures while providing compassionate, patient-focused care. The role supports a collaborative imaging department and requires flexibility for evening, day, weekend, and call assignments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Second shift, generally 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with occasional day shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; four evenings per week with potential schedule changes to one day shift and three evening shifts; 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: MRI Technologist certification through the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsMagnetic Resonance (ARRT-M) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT).
• Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, collaborating effectively with the imaging team, and demonstrating strong patient compassion. Call and weekend coverage are required approximately every four weeks. Charcoal gray scrubs are required.
