Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Inpatient. This role provides physical therapy services for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, care planning, rehabilitation, discharge support, and treatment related to post-stroke recovery and total joint replacements.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary based on census, with alternating weekend coverage.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Physical Therapist license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience using the Epic electronic health record system.
• Additional Information:
  • First-time travelers are accepted.
  • Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include acute care, patient assessment, bed alarms, discharge planning, gait-belt use, specialty beds, plan-of-care development, post-stroke rehabilitation, short-term goals, and total hip and total knee replacement care.
