Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Inpatient Physical Therapy. This acute inpatient position supports an interdisciplinary team by evaluating patients, developing plans of care, and providing treatment across a wide variety of diagnoses. The role also includes patient, family, and caregiver education, timely documentation, and collaboration with care teams.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Physical therapy experience in an inpatient setting
  • MA license or willingness to obtain one
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Additional Information:
  • Provides evaluations, treatment, and plan-of-care development for acute inpatient patients.
  • Works as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Completes accurate and timely documentation.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility, strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks.
