Job Summary

Ultrasonographer General Specialty. The role performs general and obstetric ultrasound studies, with limited vascular imaging focused on deep vein thrombosis and carotid evaluations. The position supports an acute care setting and requires the ability to manage scheduled and add-on patient volume.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule consists of three days one week and two days the following week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a general ultrasonographer
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Valid professional license required for submission
• Additional Information:
  • Performs general and obstetric ultrasound examinations, with limited vascular studies
  • Expected workload averages approximately 10 scans or studies per day
  • Ability to manage scheduled and add-on patient volume is required
  • No weekends, holidays, call, or standby responsibilities
  • Scrubs are not provided; any scrub color is acceptable
