Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric Respiratory Therapy, Spring Hill, FL. This position provides respiratory care across emergency, intensive care, and inpatient settings, including coverage for a neonatal intensive care unit. The role is scheduled for night shifts and requires Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and neonatal intensive care unit experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); neonatal intensive care unit experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting neonatal intensive care services.
• Additional Information:
  • Responsibilities include emergency department coverage, intensive care unit coverage, and floor respiratory therapy.
  • The role supports a busy emergency department and a growing neonatal intensive care service.
  • Equipment includes PB 840/980 ventilators, V60 noninvasive ventilation systems, Airvo 2, PocketPEP, bedside spirometry, and RapidPoint 500e blood gas analyzers.
  • Work includes every-other-weekend scheduling and holiday rotation in accordance with facility policy.
