Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Outpatient. This full-time position provides outpatient rehabilitation services focused on improving mobility, relieving pain, increasing strength, and restoring physical function. The role may also provide inpatient coverage as needed and includes collaboration with patients, families, healthcare providers, assistants, and aides.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • California Physical Therapist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
  • One year of experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inpatient physical therapy experience
  • Experience with Epic charting
• Additional Information:
  • Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care.
  • Provide and progress treatment according to established standards and patient needs.
  • Complete accurate evaluations, treatment records, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers and support team members.
  • Provide clinical supervision to physical therapy assistants and aides.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment and disinfect equipment after use.
  • Protect patient health information and comply with applicable privacy, safety, licensure, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete required continuing education and maintain current certifications.
