Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Location not specified. The technologist supports cardiac, vascular, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and neurointerventional procedures in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, supporting procedural workflows, and assisting with emergent and inpatient cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; rotating weekday call and one weekend of call per month may be required.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current cardiac catheterization laboratory experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Fluoroscopy certification
  • Comfort with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac infusions, vasopressors, and balloon pumps
• Additional Information:
  • Supports cardiac and coronary, vascular, peripheral, electrophysiology, general interventional radiology, and neurointerventional procedures.
  • Technologists may scrub cases or monitor hemodynamics, with registered nursing support for conscious sedation.
  • The role supports a STEMI-receiving setting and inpatient, emergent, and procedural cases.
  • Call responsibilities include rotating weekday call approximately once per week and weekend call approximately once per month.
  • A radiation monitoring badge is provided for the assignment.
