Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist, RT PEDS, Providence, RI. The position provides respiratory care for neonatal intensive care unit patients on a night shift schedule. This is a 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension and required weekend rotation.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM7:30 AM, four 12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; weekend rotation required.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care; Certified Respiratory Therapist credentials are not accepted.
  • Active Rhode Island respiratory therapy license or compact-eligible license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Recent neonatal intensive care unit respiratory experience, with a minimum of 12 years required.
  • Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Additional Information:
  • 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension.
  • Submission requires a resume, respiratory therapy license, Registered Respiratory Therapist certification, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, and two clinical references.
  • Applications missing neonatal intensive care unit experience, Epic experience, or current required certifications will not be reviewed.
