Xray Technologist, XRAY TECH, New Jersey. The technologist performs diagnostic imaging and treatment processes in accordance with applicable state, federal, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining imaging equipment, supporting patient safety and comfort, coordinating daily imaging procedures, and identifying opportunities for procedural improvement.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography school; New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 13 years of experience as an X-ray Technician.
• Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper equipment care; current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, hardware, and software technology; strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem-identification, and resolution skills.
• Additional Information:
  • Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with applicable guidelines.
  • Assess equipment safety and patient physical and physiological comfort.
  • Monitor the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and support proper operation.
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving operational or procedural concerns.
  • Assignments may involve designated locations throughout New Jersey.
