Job Summary

Mammographer, Mammography This position provides diagnostic and screening mammography services for adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. The role includes approximately 20 visits per day across two rooms, with responsibilities involving diagnostic imaging, breast procedures, radiation safety, and universal precautions.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts are 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Four 10-hour block scheduling may be available for the right candidate, with Saturday availability required.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography certification (ARRT M)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography certification (ARRT R)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid state licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Charting system experience
- Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm biopsy, needle localizations, radiation safety, screening mammograms, stereotactic biopsy, and universal precautions/core measures
Additional Information:
- Provides care for adult and geriatric patients
- Expected volume is approximately 20 visits per day
- Services are provided across two rooms
- Interdisciplinary support includes radiology
- Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 05/31/2027
