Job Summary

Mammographer, Mammography. This position provides outpatient mammography services, including screening and diagnostic examinations, within a radiology-supported setting. The role requires experience with mammography procedures, radiation safety, and care for adult and geriatric patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Four 10-hour block scheduling may be available for qualified candidates; Saturday work is required.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Valid state license; compact license must be in hand at submission
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography certification (ARRT M)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography certification (ARRT R)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm breast biopsy, needle localizations, outpatient procedures, radiation safety, screening mammograms, stereotactic biopsy, and universal precautions/core measures
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Charting system experience
  • First-time travel experience with relevant clinical experience
• Additional Information:
  • Expected volume is approximately 20 visits per day across 2 rooms.
  • Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.
  • Radiology support is available.
  • Three of five designated holidays must be worked.
  • Time-off and specific scheduling requests must be submitted before assignment confirmation.
  • Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process and before the start date.
