Job Summary

Pharmacist, Inpatient Pharmacist. The pharmacist supports the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees, and designated clinical areas. Responsibilities include medication management, collaboration with physicians on drug selection and dosing, medication education, medication safety initiatives, intravenous admixture preparation, and narcotic accountability.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shift; 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday and 12-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday, following a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation; 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience; prior travel experience required. Pharmacist practice must comply with applicable state and federal laws, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requirements, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and departmental policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
- Red scrubs are required.
- Collaborates with physicians regarding medications and dosing.
- Provides medication education to nursing staff, patients, and physicians.
- Supports medication safety initiatives, patient profile management, and the avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reactions.
- Prepares intravenous admixtures and nutritional supplements.
- Maintains narcotic accountability.
- Assignment dates are 11/23/2026 through 02/09/2027.
