Job Summary
Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Inpatient This acute care inpatient occupational therapy position provides evaluation, treatment planning, patient education, discharge support, and safety-focused care for adult and geriatric patients. The assignment requires inpatient acute care experience and supports an interdisciplinary care environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required and may fluctuate between 2 and 4 weekends per month. Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; valid compact state license in hand at submission; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; NBCOT certification; required inpatient acute care experience; experience with the Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or Trauma Level II experience and experience in a large acute care setting.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Responsibilities include assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, home exercise programs, lifting and transfers, patient and family education, plan of care development, reassessments, safety and injury prevention, and telephone follow-up.
- Holiday coverage is required for 3 of 5 designated holidays.
