Description
Job Summary
Interventional Procedural Technologist, Interventional Radiology. The technologist supports minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures across radiology, operating room, vascular surgery, cardiac hybrid, endovascular neurosurgery, and endoscopic settings. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, performing sterile scrub duties, and circulating cases as part of a multidisciplinary patient-care team.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved Radiologic Technology program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Valid Massachusetts state radiography license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery experience
- Experience supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt procedures, dialysis access or fistula procedures, and yttrium-90 selective internal radiation therapy
- Additional Information:
- Operates imaging equipment and performs sterile scrub and case-circulating responsibilities.
- Supports procedures in radiology and operating room settings.
- Collaborates with nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, residents, and technologists to provide multidisciplinary patient care.
- May support computed tomography-guided procedures, cardiac hybrid procedures, endovascular neurosurgery, and endoscopic interventions.
