Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Inpatient Physical Therapy Iowa. The position provides professional and clinical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary team supporting patient care and management. The assignment includes work in both outpatient and acute care settings, with outpatient clinic coverage for four days per week and acute care coverage for one day per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 24 months of previous Physical Therapist experience.
  • Outpatient experience.
  • Active Iowa Physical Therapist license.
  • Experience with the designated electronic medical record system.
  • Successful completion of required discipline-specific skills documentation.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inpatient experience.
  • Successful completion of at least one travel contract.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional Information:
  • Care is provided across outpatient clinic and acute care settings.
  • Weekend coverage may include one to two weekends during the assignment for acute care support.
  • Weekend on-call coverage includes Saturday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for new neurological patient evaluations.
  • The traveler may be required to work two of three designated winter holidays.
  • Orientation is available every Monday.
  • The anticipated assignment dates are 12/14/2026 through 03/15/2027.
