Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, Respiratory Therapy, Evansville, IN A 13-week assignment is available for a registered respiratory therapist supporting medical/surgical, intensive care, and stepdown units. The role provides respiratory care across inpatient settings and requires clinical adaptability, resilience, and the ability to manage changing patient-care needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The assignment is scheduled from 11/23/2026 through 02/21/2027.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
  • Associate degree or respiratory therapy certificate
  • Respiratory therapy license in Indiana
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
  • Skills in medical/surgical respiratory therapy, intensive care respiratory therapy, stepdown respiratory therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and arterial blood gases
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree and EPIC charting experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.

  • Float coverage may include inpatient units and facilities.
  • Patient-care settings include medical/surgical units, intensive care, and stepdown units.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required and is subject to change.
