Job Summary

Occupational Therapist, Inpatient. The position provides occupational therapy services in an inpatient or acute care setting. Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care while meeting applicable licensure, certification, and compliance requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Hawaii state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Health Care Professional (HCP) certification.
  • All licenses and certifications must remain valid through the initial contract.
  • At least two years of full-time staff experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient or acute care setting, excluding travel assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a comparable medical center with 500 or more beds and Level 1 Trauma Center capabilities.
• Additional Information:
  • Compliance must be completed at least 10 days before the contract start date.
  • Delayed compliance may postpone the start date and shorten the contract period.
  • The role requires adherence to all applicable clinical and operational requirements before the assignment begins.
