Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Outpatient Physical Therapy Key West. The position evaluates patients, develops and modifies individualized treatment plans, and provides care designed to support functional recovery and return to community activities. The Physical Therapist also provides patient and family education, maintains timely clinical documentation, and supports quality, safety, and professional development initiatives.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
  • At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Active and applicable license in the state where services are provided
• Additional Information:
  • Complete comprehensive patient evaluations and use clinical reasoning to establish treatment plans and functional goals.
  • Provide discipline-specific therapy services in accordance with patient needs, goals, physician orders, and applicable regulations.
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, goals, medical necessity, functional outcomes, and care provided accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure care is delivered under valid physician orders and applicable clinical approvals.
  • Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers regarding therapy services and patient care.
  • Participate in student education and provide appropriate supervision when assigned.
  • Maintain professional licensure and complete required continuing education.
  • Follow applicable state practice requirements and professional codes of conduct.
  • Promote patient and employee safety through safe handling practices, infection prevention, hazard awareness, and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute feedback to support improved patient services.
