Job Summary

Ultrasonographer General This position performs a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role requires proficiency in obstetric, abdominal, vascular, pelvic, breast, cardiac, and other specialized ultrasound studies, along with participation in scheduled call coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; 3 years of experience preferred based on position requirements. Active ARDMS certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a compact license in hand at submission are required. Proficiency with diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, abdominal, vascular, pelvic, thyroid, breast, pediatric, and emergency studies, is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Epic charting system and a broad range of specialized ultrasound procedures, including fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, vascular mapping, ultrasound-guided biopsy or fine-needle aspiration, and transvaginal imaging.
• Additional Information:
  • Call coverage includes a couple of nights per week and up to two weekend calls per schedule.
  • Orientation includes 40 hours.
  • The position serves patients across neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
  • Holiday coverage may include three of the following five holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
