Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, Pediatric Specialty. This position provides respiratory care for primarily geriatric and adult patients, with limited pediatric care requiring pediatric experience. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts and participation in weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Every other weekend and holidays may be required.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered
  • Vermont state license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential
  • Pediatric respiratory care experience
  • Personal vehicle required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Travel assignment experience
  • Critical access healthcare setting experience
• Additional Information:
  • Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric, with minimal pediatric volume.
  • Pediatric experience is required.
  • Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on operational needs.
