Job Summary

Xray Technologist, XRAY TECH. This position performs diagnostic imaging and treatment processes in accordance with applicable state, federal, and professional guidelines. The role maintains imaging equipment, supports patient safety and comfort, and coordinates daily imaging procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 13 years of experience as an Xray Technician
• Additional Information:
  • Perform imaging procedures in accordance with applicable clinical and professional standards.
  • Assess equipment and procedural safety, including patient physical and physiological comfort.
  • Monitor the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging activities.
  • Demonstrate problem identification, resolution, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and hardware and software developments.
  • No call required.
