Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, Respiratory Therapist, Greenville, NC An acute-care respiratory therapy position supporting pediatric patients in a childrens hospital setting. The role requires experience in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with flexibility to support complex cases, including patients receiving Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

Job Details

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and one call shift approximately every six weeks.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Current North Carolina respiratory therapist license
- Three years of experience in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and support pediatric patients with complex respiratory needs
Preferred Qualifications: NPS credential preferred.
Additional Information:
- Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 02/28/2027.
- Monday orientation is required.
- The position supports a 70-plus-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and pediatric patients requiring advanced respiratory care.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Call-back assignments have a minimum duration of two hours.
- New graduates and assistants will not be considered.
