Job Summary

Mammographer, Mammography, Bethel, AK. The Mammographer performs imaging examinations for patients from newborn through geriatric populations while supporting efficient department operations and continuity of patient care. The role uses specialized mammography training to provide quality patient care and may perform receptionist, clerk, or other department duties as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accepted in lieu of accredited graduation.
  • Current registration with ARRT (R)(M) or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Initial training in digital mammography and tomosynthesis.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of post-graduation experience.
  • Experience meeting current Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements, including 15 breast continuing education units within 36 months and 200 mammography examinations within 24 months.
  • Ability to perform routine screening and specialized diagnostic mammography views.
  • Recent X-ray experience.
  • Fuji experience.
