Job Summary

Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab, Sarasota, FL. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports cardiac catheterization procedures across two labs in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires cath lab experience and proficiency with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, and ventilator support.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Cardiac cath lab experience; proficiency with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, and ventilator support.
• Preferred Qualifications: Vascular or peripheral intervention experience; electrophysiology experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Supports procedures including left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, shockwave therapy, permanent pacemaker placement, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump procedures.
  • Patient assignments may follow a 1:1 ratio, with on-call coverage provided by a three-person team.
  • The ideal candidate works independently, maintains a positive attitude, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
  • Weekend and holiday scheduling may be required in rotation with facility employees.
