Job Summary

MRI Technologist, MRI. The role performs quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures under radiologist supervision to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include effective communication, multitasking, participation in teaching and research, and handling challenging customer interactions in an acute care setting.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts are scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., totaling 36 hours per week. Call and holidays may be required as scheduled.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Level I trauma hospital experience
- MRI technologist certification through ARRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Proficiency with computers, computer systems, basic navigation, and email applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Philips MRI equipment preferred
Additional Information:
- Performs MRI procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist.
- Participates in teaching and research related to MRI.
- Demonstrates active involvement in departmental activities.
- Communicates effectively and manages multiple tasks.
- Handles difficult or challenging customer interactions and escalates concerns appropriately.
- The assignment is scheduled from 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
