Job Summary

MRI Technologist, MRI Lima. The MRI Technologist performs invasive and non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging examinations, including neuro, abdominal, orthopedic, and magnetic resonance angiography studies. The role requires independent judgment, strong MRI safety knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience; experience with neuro, abdominal, orthopedic, and magnetic resonance angiography studies; experience caring for patients from newborn through geriatric populations; active Ohio radiologic technologist license; active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MRI certification; and active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs a variety of MRI examinations requiring independent judgment.
  • Must demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures.
  • Must communicate effectively and maintain a professional, courteous, and patient-centered demeanor.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, patience, tact, and the ability to work efficiently under stress.
  • May assume additional designated responsibilities as assigned.
